It is often said that everyone knows Talis. She is loved for her southern charm, quick wit, and for making, platform flip-flops a wardrobe staple.  Talis can be seen cruising up and down “her beach” in her car piled high with paintings bigger than she is.  

Talis paints with intimate feeling the places she’s been and things she loves.  Her impressions are unique and to be enjoyed by diverse audiences Talis’ collection of work includes watercolors, acrylics, pastels, limited editions, print, and note cards. She shares her artistic knowledge through art instruction with both children and adults in the community 

Despite spending the greater part of her life in Louisiana.  Talis has always wanted to live near the ocean to paint the beautiful scenes she loves. After vacationing with family and hosting art shows for years she has arrived and loves being at home in Florida.  “One can’t help but be inspired by paradise the beauty is breathtaking and leaves one in awe”. 

Talis Jayme has studied with nationally recognized artists such as Edgar Whitney.  Watercolor and acrylic have proven to be the favorite medium to portray her varied subjects.  After years of developing and refining her technique, Talis has gained the respect of a wide audience. Her works hang in private and corporate collections throughout the United States and abroad.
